NZ Coastal Seafoods is a growing New Zealand-based processor, distributor and exporter of premium seafood products for supply, directly and through distributors, to customers, restaurants, seafood traders, supermarkets and other retailers in New Zealand, Australia and Asia.
With upcoming ASX listing, the business is positioned and funded to expand its production capacity, product range and distribution channels into new and existing markets. The New Zealand sourced product enjoys an excellent reputation due to its consistent supply, competitive pricing and high quality.
Reporting to the CEO, the Finance Manager will be a member of the Management Team and will have responsibility for the functional leadership of the company’s financial, product costing, reporting, regulatory and data management processes. Establishing effective financial and production management information systems for the business is a key early focus. The Finance Manager will provide timely and accurate advice to the CEO and Board to ensure they are well equipped to make strategic and operational decisions. With key markets in SE Asia and China, a knowledge of these regions would be advantageous.
Applicants will demonstrate the following:
- Financial management experience within an FMCG or food processing environment.
- Proven ability to establish effective business systems and processes.
- Knowledge of export requirements and hands-on financial forecasting.
- A reputation for attention to detail whilst maintaining a big picture outlook.
- A team player who is comfortable in a hands-on financial operations role.
- A relevant tertiary qualification is desirable.
